Cultural and educational tourist centre ETNOMIR is a unique project that will allow everyone to get acquainted with the life, traditions and culture of the peoples of the world. Only in ETNOMIR can everyone become a resident of any ethno-yard, feel the full diversity of culture and enrich themselves with new knowledge about the life and traditions of the people.
A variety of services on offer are united by the fact that every visitor to ETNOMIR will find an activity they like, because the uniqueness of this product is precisely in that we offer to be not just a visitor to the cultural and educational tourism complex, but temporarily become a native of any country in the world, discover its beauty and diversity, learn about the traditions and culture, acquire new crafts, and most importantly, look at the world and oneself through the eyes of other peoples, understand that the beauty of the world is in its diversity and that we have a lot in common, that people on earth are a big harmonious family, which should live in peace.
In order to demonstrate the diversity of our world, we decided to show each country, each people through the authentically recreated ethno-yard, which harmoniously accommodates ethnic buildings intended to be hotel, craft shops, museums, traditional cuisine restaurants, souvenir shops and other facilities, radiating flavor of traditional life. A custodian of traditions, who could most reliably introduce the wisdom of his people passed through the everyday life and holidays, through crafts and household items and tools, through folklore, folk songs and legends, through the healing procedures and the tradition of folk cuisine, resides in the ethno-yard.
The basic principle of ETNOMIR is the general equality of cultures. Regardless of the level of economic development and its international status.
The potential of the project suggests that in the coming years ETNOMIR should become the main ethno-cultural crossroads of the country. The brightest festivals, carnivals, calendar events, exhibitions, conferences, concerts, which are directly linked to the traditional culture of different peoples will be held here. Ethno-yards will introduce people to the ethnic architecture, customs and way of life, history, folklore and mythology, cuisine and crafts.
The project to create the cultural and educational centre ETNOMIR has received the support of: the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation, the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the Governor of the Kaluga Region A.D. Artamonova.
